BCHIMPS Fall 2011 Education Forum
Connecting Communities in BC: Keeping People Healthy in their Communities
On behalf of the BC Health Information Management Professionals' Society, we are pleased to invite you join the Fall Education Forum, “Connecting Communities in BC: Keeping People Healthy in their Communities,” which will take place at the University Golf Club on October 21, 2011, 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
Historically community and population health system in British Columbia have been fragmented, precluding the natural linkages among health service programs required to improve care coordination. BC is working hard to develop sustainable systems to improve the health of populations in the community.
On October 21st , 2011, the BCHIMPS Fall Education Forum will explore BC initiatives aimed to connect care across the community. The day will be devoted to exploring local initiatives including PARIS, PITO, PROMIS and Telehealth Connect, solutions focused on improving care across communities. We hope you will join us!
