Description

The Canadian health care system is poised for transformation. Sky rocketing costs, technology advances, and consumer expectations are driving change across the entire health continuum, generating fertile soil for emerging technologies to grow. Such technologies hold the promise of reinventing the way we access and use health services, providing new options for providers and care delivery, while simultaneously empowering patients.

Smart hospitals, mobile home care on smart phones, IBM’s Watson, secure patient-provider communications and cloud-based applications are just some of the technologies that will be showcased by leaders from the North Island Hospitals Project, Procura Mobile, IBM, MiHealth and Canada Health Infoway.

Please join on March 2 at the University Golf Club for a 7:30am start, with a leisurely breakfast and networking with health information professionals from BC and across Canada. The program will begin at 8:30am and end by 4:30pm, with a hot lunch and refreshments along the way.
